Our initial interaction will begin when you reach out to our “contact today” web form. This will help us to connect about the basics to make sure we would be an initial good fit for one another. Please be sure to include your insurance and general information. Our Intake Coordinator will then email you to connect further (if you don’t hear from us within 2 days, please check your spam folder!). Consultation
After we connect via phone and/or email, an initial consultation (60 minutes in duration) will be scheduled. The purpose of that meeting is to review your current presenting concern and history as well as to get a sense as to whether we might be a good fit for you. If it is determined that we appear to be a good fit, treatment goals will be identified to ensure we both understand what we would identify as success in the therapeutic process. Additionally, we will review and sign any necessary paperwork and discuss scheduling future sessions. If for some reason it seems we might not be a good fit, we will happily help with a referral to another provider. Our goal is to help you on your journey – even if it is not with us.
Teletherapy
(Online Video Sessions)
If you will be starting with video sessions (discussed and agreed upon during our initial contact), you will receive a secure link with forms to review and e-sign prior to our first intake appointment. You will also receive information on how to access our secure video sessions. Much like an in-person appointment, your initial intake will be focused on getting to know the areas of concern that brought you to treatment, discussing relevant history and identifying goals.
